Clive W. Blackwood is executive vice president and the general auditor of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
He is the Bank’s liaison with regard to all matters relating to the Office of Inspector General of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He is also the Bank’s liaison to the Government Accountability Office.
Mr. Blackwood joined the Bank in November 2005 and has held a series of positons of increasing responsibility within the internal Audit Group. Most recently he was the Bank’s deputy general auditor. He reports to the directors of the Bank.
Mr. Blackwood has a background in risk and auditing spanning over 20 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the New York Fed, he was an audit director at American Express Company. He also served as an auditor in KPMG’s Assurance Services practice, based in the firm’s head office in New York.
Mr. Blackwood holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from New York University and is a certified internal auditor, certified information systems auditor, certified financial services auditor and a certified bank auditor.
