Dianne Dobbeck is head of the Supervision Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and a member of the New York Fed’s Executive Committee.
In this role, she oversees bank supervision and regulation for financial institutions in the Second Federal Reserve District. Ms. Dobbeck serves alongside other Reserve District supervision heads on the Board of Governors’ Supervision Committee, and on the Board’s Large Institution Supervision Coordinating Committee (LISCC), which oversees the largest and most systemically important financial institutions in the United States.
Ms. Dobbeck has held various senior leadership positions at the New York Fed. Most recently, she led the Supervisory Policy and Strategy function and was responsible for helping to formulate policy responses to supervisory matters. She and her team represent the Federal Reserve in different senior-level domestic and international committees. Her professional experience includes providing strategic direction and coaching to teams of subject matter experts, financial analysts, and examiners. At two different intervals, Ms. Dobbeck served as the senior officer responsible for the Fed’s supervision of two of the largest U.S. banks.
Ms. Dobbeck holds a master’s degree from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, and a bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College.
