The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will release its Q1 2021 Household Debt and Credit Report on Wednesday, May 12 at 11 AM EDT.
The Household Debt and Credit Report offers an updated snapshot of household trends in borrowing and indebtedness, including data about mortgages, student loans, credit cards, and auto loans.
The latest report captures consumer credit data as of the end of March. The data reveals a strong increase in new extensions of credit in addition to changes in credit card balances.
In conjunction with the report, the New York Fed will publish a Liberty Street Economics blog post that examines the change in credit card balances by neighborhood income and credit score.
