NEW YORKâOn Friday, April 14, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host "The Global Economy after COVID," a hybrid research symposium focused on the shape of the global economy in the next decade.
The symposium, organized by the Applied Macroeconomics and Econometrics Center at the New York Fed, will feature presentations and discussions on the following topics: macroeconomic implications of global portfolio allocations; changing players in financial markets and international shock transmission; the future of world trade and implications for the U.S. economy; and economic implications of cross-border worker mobility.
The conference is open to media and members of the public virtually. All remarks are on the record, and the event will be recorded. Further details, including the full agenda, are available on the event page.
