NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York today announced the appointment of Michael Decker to the New York Fed’s Community Advisory Group, effective immediately.
The Community Advisory Group is comprised of leaders of nonprofits, community organizations, foundations, and anchor institutions. Its primary goal is to provide the New York Fed, including President John C. Williams, with a real-time view of the economic issues faced by a diverse set of communities and individuals across the Second District.
Decker’s appointment comes in advance of the Community Advisory Group’s next meeting on February 29, 2024.
Decker is president and CEO of Eden Autism Services, headquartered in Princeton, N.J. Eden is a nonprofit that offers residential, vocational, and day services to autistic adults and provides year-round schooling to students ages 3 to 21. Before joining Eden in 2017, Decker was chief operating officer of AHRC New York City, which serves adults and children with intellectual and other developmental disabilities across all five boroughs.
