August 06, 2018

NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York today announced the appointment of three new members to its Advisory Council on Small Business and Agriculture, effective immediately. The council, which is composed of local small business leaders, helps the New York Fed better understand the regional economy and business climate. The appointments were announced ahead of council’s second meeting of 2018, being held later today at the New York Fed.

Council members include chief executive officers and presidents from small businesses, including agricultural-based businesses, who meet three times a year with the New York Fed president and staff. During each meeting, council members share their insight on business activity, the economic outlook, the labor market, and other issues affecting business conditions.
