Hunter Clark is an international policy advisor in International Studies within the Monetary Policy Research Division. Mr. Clark joined the Bank in 1994 in the International Research Function, worked in the Emerging Markets and International Affairs (1996-2015) and the Integrated Policy Analysis Groups (2015-2016) as founding members in both, and rejoined Research in 2016. Over the years Mr. Clark has covered a range of countries and issues, but has had a particular focus on China, Emerging Asia, and Russia, and currently focuses on macro and sovereign risk issues in China. In addition, Mr. Clark is a principle contributor to and manager of the Bank’s analytical support for the Interagency Country Exposure Review Committee, and, in his capacity as a sovereign risk specialist, covers fiscal issues in Puerto Rico (2013 – 2016). Mr. Clark holds a BA in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Foreign Service and a MA in Economics, both from Georgetown University. |
