Staff Economists
To support the Federal Reserve System's policy mission, our economists conduct research on a wide array of topics relevant to the performance of the economy.

Economists conduct independent research on issues of importance to the Federal Reserve as well as economics more broadly, and provide analysis that supports the formulation and execution of policy. They also participate in committees aimed at enhancing internal Research Group processes and decision making in several key areas. For full descriptions of all departments and committees, please visit About Research & Statistics.
