Legal Opinions
The FMLG maintains for its members a set of netting enforceability opinions regarding the FXC agreements. In 2018, the FMLG gathered opinions that are tied to ISDA agreements for the following jurisdictions: Australia, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Signapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United States. Going forward, the FMLG may seek legal opinions only if there are material changes either to ISDA agreements or to FXC agreements.
