Guest speaker Joseph Tracy, executive vice president and director of the Research and Statistics Group at the New York Fed, provides an update and analysis of national economic conditions. Joe has published in a range of economic and business journals, including the American Economic Review and the Journal of Political Economy. He has a bachelor's degree in political economy from the University of Missouri and a doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago. Before joining the Bank in 1996, Joe was an associate professor of economics at Columbia University and Yale University, as well as the Olin Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
