The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation invite you to attend a conference that will bring together regulators, financial institutions, nonprofits and public agencies within New Jersey for a day-long discussion on community economic development and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). A continental breakfast will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m., followed by the formal program from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served.
The conference will include:
- A presentation on the current Economic Outlook for New Jersey.
- A moderated panel discussion about the current state of community economic development in New Jersey, including affordable housing, small business, community services and community revitalization.
- Training on the role of CRA in low-to-moderate income communities and guidance on how financial institutions and nonprofit organizations can leverage the Act to address community needs.
- Small group discussions on affordable housing, small business, community services and community revitalization to identify best practices in New Jersey.
