2025 Financial Innovations Roundtable: Financing Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing

June 13, 2025

On Friday, June 13, 2025, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in partnership with the Carsey Center for Impact Finance at the University of New Hampshire, will host the 2025 Financial Innovations Roundtable. Now in its 27th year, this annual event aims to create partnerships that provide low-income communities with increased access to capital and financial services.

This year’s roundtable will focus on financing existing multifamily rental properties that low-income households can afford without public subsidies, which are also known as naturally occurring affordable housing.

The event will bring together lenders, investors, housing developers, researchers, and state and local government leaders working to build and preserve affordable housing. The goal of the event is to spotlight successful strategies that can be replicated.
