NEW YORK—Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William Dudley is scheduled to visit Puerto Rico June 23-24 to discuss the Island’s economy and business conditions with local leaders. President Dudley is also expected to deliver a speech about Puerto Rico’s economy.
This visit is part of the New York Fed’s efforts to better assess the regional economy and understand issues and concerns in the Second Federal Reserve District, which includes New York State, Northern New Jersey, Fairfield County (Connecticut), the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. This will be President Dudley’s third trip to Puerto Rico; he last visited in 2011.
