NEW YORK—Federal Reserve Bank of New York economists will provide an update on regional economic conditions at a press briefing on August 26 at 10 a.m. The briefing will examine local employment trends and provide analysis on which sectors are driving growth throughout the Second District, including New York City, New York State, northern New Jersey and Puerto Rico.
The briefing will also include remarks from President William Dudley on the economic outlook for the region and the New York Fed’s efforts to support the Second District. President Dudley and staff will answer questions after the presentations.
