On November 5, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a workshop on culture and behavior in the financial services industry, featuring a keynote address by International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde and a discussion between Ms. Lagarde and Federal Reserve Board Vice Chair Stanley Fischer.
The workshop will convene industry leaders and regulators to discuss leading practices, challenges and opportunities for further collaboration both within the industry and with the official sector. This workshop will build upon a conference held by the New York Fed in October, 2014.
Media are invited to attend the opening remarks by New York Fed President William C. Dudley, as well as the keynote speech and subsequent discussion between Ms. Lagarde and Mr. Fischer. Media may register by contacting Andrea Priest (andrea.priest@ny.frb.org) by November 2. A live webcast will be available.
The full agenda for the workshop is available on the New York Fed’s website. A detailed summary of the workshop will be published after the event.
