New York Fed to Host Conference on Supervision on March 18
March 4, 2016

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host Supervising Large, Complex Financial Institutions: Defining Objectives and Measuring Effectiveness on March 18.  The conference will bring together financial economists, macroeconomists, practitioners and policymakers to discuss the goals of supervision of large, complex institutions and ways to measure the effectiveness of such supervision. 

New York Fed President William Dudley is expected to deliver opening remarks.  The conference will also include presentations of empirical and theoretical research as well as panel discussions and broader discussions with the audience.

The full agenda for the conference is available on the New York Fed’s website.  A summary of the key themes of the conference is expected to be posted after the event.
