NEW YORK—Federal Reserve Bank of New York President John C. Williams will visit New York State’s North Country region on May 28 and 29 to meet with leaders in government, business, and community development.
On Tuesday, May 28, President Williams will meet with government officials in Plattsburgh to hear about local economic conditions. He will then visit aerospace company BETA Technologies to learn about its business operations in the region.
Later, President Williams will travel to Lake Placid, where he will meet with business leaders from the Adirondack region and representatives of the Olympic Regional Development Authority. The day will end with a roundtable discussion with community development leaders.
On Wednesday, May 29, President Williams will travel to Watertown, where he will meet with service members from nearby Fort Drum to learn about life on the military base. To conclude the regional visit, he will participate in a roundtable discussion with local leaders to hear about business conditions and municipal and community services.
