NEW YORK - The Federal Reserve Bank of New York's board of directors has promoted Rona Pocker to vice president of financial examinations, the bank announced today.
With her new assignment, she will have supervisory responsibility for various domestic and international financial institutions.
Ms. Pocker joined the bank in April 1992 as a senior bank examiner, and was promoted to supervising examiner in international bank examinations in July 1993. In January 1995, she was appointed an officer of the bank with the title of examining officer and assigned to the European examinations department. In December 1995, Ms. Pocker was appointed assistant vice president of financial examinations.
She holds a B.A. in art history and English from New York University and an M.B.A. in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago.
