NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s
board of directors has approved the promotion of six vice
presidents.
Gail R. Armendinger has been promoted to
vice president of electronic payments in the Financial Services
Group. She joined the Bank in July 1983 as an administrative
trainee in the central bank services department and was named
an officer of the New York Fed in electronic payments in June
1999. She was promoted to assistant vice president in January
2003.
Ms. Armendinger holds a B.S. degree from Manhattan College.
Lance W. Auer has been promoted to vice president
in the Bank Supervision Group. He joined the Bank in September
1991 as a financial analyst and was named an officer of the
New York Fed in December 1996 and assigned to the Markets
Group. Mr. Auer resigned from the Bank in June 1998 to relocate
to San Francisco and was reemployed in November 2003 as an
assistant vice president in the Bank Supervision Group.
Mr. Auer holds a B.A. degree from Pitzer College and an
M.P.P. degree from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School
of Government.
Jean Bolwell has been promoted to vice president
in the Automation and Systems Services Group. She joined the
Bank in September 1969 and was assigned to the personnel department.
She was named an officer of the New York Fed in June 1999
and assigned to the Automation and Systems Services Group.
Ms. Bolwell was promoted to assistant vice president in June
2002.
Richard P. Dzina has been promoted to vice president in the Financial Services Group. He joined the Bank in July 1991 as a bank examiner in the Bank Supervision Group and was named an officer of the New York Fed in the Markets Group in June 1999. He was promoted to assistant vice president in June 2003.
Mr. Dzina holds a B.A. degree from Princeton University
and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School.
Robard B. Williams has been promoted to vice
president in the Bank Supervision Group, where he joined the
Bank as a financial analyst in August 1996. Mr. Williams was
named an officer of the New York Fed in June 2002 and promoted
to assistant vice president in July 2004.
Mr. Williams holds a B.A. degree from Haverford College
and an M.A. degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
Paul D. Whynott has been promoted to vice
president in the Bank Supervision Group, where he joined the
Bank as an assistant bank examiner in August 1992. Mr. Whynott
was named an officer of the New York Fed in January 2003 and
was promoted to assistant vice president in January 2004.
Mr. Whynott holds a B.A. degree from Connecticut College
and an M.B.A degree from Columbia University.
