New York—James D. Narron has been named a senior vice president in charge of the cash and custody function in the Financial Services Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He had been a vice president for the Bank’s data center relocation project in the Automation Group since October 2008.
Mr. Narron joined the Bank in May 2003 as a staff director in the cash and custody function and was named an officer in January 2006. In February 2007, Mr. Narron was named deputy chief of staff and assigned to the Chief of Staff’s Office, and in November 2007, he was assigned to the Executive Oversight Group as a project director. Mr. Narron was promoted to assistant vice president in January 2008 and in July 2008 promoted to vice president in the same area.
Mr. Narron holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Rockhurst University and a master’s degree in international business studies from the University of South Carolina.
