NEW YORK—Kathryn Smith has been named a senior vice president in the Technology Services Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is responsible for the program management office reporting to William T. Christie, executive vice president, Technology Services Group.
Prior to joining the Bank, Ms. Smith had been a consultant at the New York Fed since October 2008. In that capacity, she helped establish the Group’s program management office. She served as a senior vice president at Commerce Bank from 2007 to 2008 and Bank of America/MBNA America from 2000 to 2007, both in the enterprise project management area.
Ms. Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the technology field, with deep knowledge of application development, data management and program management. At the New York Fed,
Ms. Smith will work on implementing new programs and project delivery methodologies for the Bank.
Ms. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine.
