Silvia Miranda-Agrippino is a research economist in International Studies within the Monetary Policy Research Division, and a Research Affiliate at the CEPR. Her research focuses on the use of empirical methods to study the propagation of monetary policy and other macroeconomic shocks, and drivers and consequences of domestic and global cycles. Prior to joining the Fed, Silvia was a policy and research advisor in the Monetary Policy Outlook Division at the Bank of England. Silvia has published work in the Review of Economic Studies, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, and the Review of Economics and Statistics.
