Gizem Kosar is an economic research advisor in Microeconomics. Gizem’s recent work focuses on investigating the link households’ perceptions and subjective expectations to their labor supply and consumption decisions, how social norms affect individuals’ own attitudes towards work, and the impact of public assistance programs on the marginal tax rates facing low-income families. Her research interests also include the use of subjective expectations data in structural models and identifying households’ preferences using subjective expectations and probabilistic stated-choice data. Gizem received her PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University in August 2015.
