Anat Gourji is the Chief Financial Officer and Head of the Corporate Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is also a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee. As Head of the Corporate Group, Anat oversees the financial management, business continuity, procurement, real estate, and other general support functions of the Bank.
Anat brings over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including budget management, engineering, customer engagement, and business operations. Since joining the Bank in 1997 as a programmer, she has held several management positions of increasing responsibility that have exposed her to various aspects of the business of the Federal Reserve System. Prior to her current role, Anat served as Chief Operating Officer of the Technology Group, leading the Oversight and Business Operations Function. Between 2013 and 2024, she was responsible for ensuring the delivery of the highest quality technology services in support of the Bank’s strategic goals. As part of her mandate, Anat directed, measured, and evaluated the use of IT resources with an expanded remit around centralized technology vendor and asset/software management, effectively managing the significant operating budget of TG.
Anat is an inclusive leader with a deep understanding of the Bank’s infrastructure and operations. Earlier in her tenure, she played an important role in the System’s remote access services, and her strategic direction later positioned us to seamlessly transition to remote work. Among her many contributions during her service, Anat has implemented cutting-edge technology platforms to foster collaboration, stood up a solid engineering team for New York, spearheaded innovation for the System, and nurtured talent at all levels of the organization.
In addition to several technology certifications, Anat holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Queens College.
