The Fed built a new site on a patch of and encompassing Maiden Lane, Nassau and Liberty Streets.

The Main Building

Outgrowing its banking space at 120 Broadway, the New York Fed built a new site at the intersection of Maiden Lane, Nassau and Liberty Streets. Clearing the site and constructing the building took six years. It was not occupied until 1924. (1922)
