The Statistics Function of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a training seminar on how to complete the "Report of Foreign Holdings of U.S. Securities, Including Selected Money Market Instruments."
Seminar Details
The seminar is designed to educate firms on the reporting requirements. The seminar assumes a familiarity with investment practices and provides a detailed discussion of U.S. securities, together with descriptions and samples of the schedules and other informational tools.
Representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors will describe in detail the methodology of identifying reportable securities, as well as pertinent reporting requirements and the technical requirements for submitting the data.

- U.S. resident custodians who hold U.S. securities for foreign residents
- U.S. resident issuers who issue securities directly to foreign residents
- U.S. resident central securities depositories who hold U.S. securities on behalf of foreign-resident entities
This program is eligible for 4 CPE credits in Specialized Knowledge. Attendance is required.
