The High School Fed Challenge Competition is designed to bring real-world economics into the classroom. Teams play the role of monetary policymakers by analyzing current economic conditions and recommending a course for monetary policy.
The purpose of the faculty orientation session is to help teachers decide if they are interested in participating in the competition and to prepare them for their role as an advisor.
Note: Faculty advisors who did not attend an orientation sessions last year (2010-11) MUST attend one this year for their teams to be eligible to participate. All potential faculty advisors including those who participated last year are welcome.
