The Federal Reserve System, in collaboration with the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University, the Ray Marshall Center at the University of Texas at Austin, and the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, is organizing a book launch event announcing the public release of Investing in America’s Workforce: Improving Outcomes for Workers and Employers. This publication includes the voices of over 100 authors who share research, best practices, and resources on workforce development from across the country. The publication is divided into three volumes: Investing in Workers, Investing in Work, and Investing in Systems for Employment Opportunity. The book is designed to reframe workforce development efforts as investments that can result in better economic outcomes for individuals, businesses, and communities.
