On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York hosted a virtual event focused on investment strategies to address the social determinants of health to improve health and economic outcomes for communities.
Topics included strategies for developing infrastructure that advances health, mobility, and sustainability. Speakers discussed municipal financing, performance tracking, and examples of communities leveraging their assets.
The event was the third in a series centered on ideas from around the world for place-based investments addressing the social determinants of health. The event was of interest to leaders in the financial, government, nonprofit, and health sectors.
