NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York announced today that President William C. Dudley will visit Brooklyn, New York on Friday, June 10, 2011 as part of the Bank’s continued outreach efforts in the region and to strengthen ties with various stakeholders of the Second Federal Reserve District. President Dudley will be accompanied by Edward Murphy, Executive Vice President, head of the Corporate Group and Joseph Tracy, Executive Vice President, special advisor to the President and former head of the Research Group.
While visiting Brooklyn, President Dudley will deliver a speech before the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce about the state of the regional economy, highlighting conditions in Brooklyn, and his outlook for the U.S. economy. President Dudley, Mr. Murphy and Mr. Tracy will also meet with local community and business leaders to learn more about conditions in the region and discuss a range of economic issues.
