The Federal Reserve Bank of New York this month will co-sponsor two forums aimed at providing information on financing and credit to the area’s small business community.
The first forum is scheduled for October 8 and will be held in Brooklyn. This event will provide technical assistance for small businesses interested in learning about alternative and emerging sources of financing. Attendees will hear from lenders and experts on a wide range of topics, including crowd-funding basics, online lending platforms and revolving loan funds.
The second forum is geared towards small businesses interested in learning about traditional and alternative sources of financing. This workshop takes place on October 22 in the Bronx, and will give attendees information on alternatives to traditional bank loans and tips on improving their chances for success, among other topics.
Resource expos will be held after both events.
