NEW YORK—On December 2, Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William C. Dudley will visit the Bronx to meet with community and business leaders. During the visit, President Dudley will discuss the local economy as well as efforts to expand employment opportunities through public-private partnerships and non-profits.
While in the borough, President Dudley is scheduled to meet with members of the New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Bronx Borough President’s Office. He will also visit OnForce Solar and Montefiore Medical Center.
Later in the day, President Dudley will visit the Bronx headquarters of the Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation (WHEDco), a community development organization. He will conclude the day with a conversation with students and faculty at Lehman College.
This will be President Dudley's second trip to the Bronx. He last visited the borough in October of 2011.
