NEW YORK – The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Freelancers Union will convene a forum titled The Evolution of Work on November 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Evolution of Work will convene thought leaders from across academia, government, industry, and the nonprofit sector to explore the transformation of the workforce and its economic and community impacts. The forum will explore the role of technology, shifts in worker arrangements and relationships, and the implications of these changes on workforce development strategies.
The event will be open to the press. Chatham House Rule will be in effect for all but certain remarks that are specified as on-the-record. For all other sessions, media may report on comments made during the event, but may not attribute remarks to any individual or their organization.
For additional information on the forum, including times, speakers and topic discussions, see the conference agenda.
