The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will release its Q2 2020 Household Debt and Credit Report on Thursday, August 6 at 11:00 AM EDT. This Report will be based on consumer credit data as of June 30 and will reflect changes to household debt balances and credit conditions through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Household Debt and Credit Report offers an updated snapshot of household trends in borrowing and indebtedness, including data about mortgages, student loans, credit cards, and auto loans.
In conjunction with the report, the New York Fed will publish a Liberty Street Economics blog post examining key developments on consumer balance sheets, at a monthly frequency, in the period since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
