The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will release its Q1 2022 Household Debt and Credit Report on Tuesday, May 10 at 11 AM EDT.
The Household Debt and Credit Report offers an updated snapshot of household trends in borrowing and indebtedness, including data about mortgages, student loans, credit cards, and auto loans. The latest report captures consumer credit data as of the end of March 2022 and reveals an increase in aggregate household debt balances.
In conjunction with the report, the New York Fed will publish a Liberty Street Economics blog post on mortgage originations, including additional insight into the breakout between purchase and refinances.
