On Monday, July 11, 2022, Federal Reserve Bank of New York President John C. Williams and the United Kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority Chief Executive Nikhil Rathi—who together serve as co-chairs of the Financial Stability Board's Official Sector Steering Group—will co-host a conference, “Last Call on LIBOR: Final Steps to Transition."
This conference will focus on the industry's transition away from LIBOR, covering progress made, lessons learned, and priorities for the final year until the end of the U.S. dollar LIBOR panel in mid-2023.
The conference will open with a moderated discussion between President Williams and Chief Executive Rathi, followed by several panel discussions with public and private sector leaders who have played critical roles in the transition.
This conference is open to the public and members of the press, and all remarks during the conference are on the record. Further details, including the full agenda and registration for the public, are available here.
The conference will be available both in-person and via livestream to those who register, with a recording posted afterwards. Limited seating in-person at the New York Fed will be available to journalists who request it.
Journalists who wish to attend should contact Betsy Bourassa at the New York Fed, Betsy.Bourassa@ny.frb.org.
