NEW YORK—On Thursday and Friday, November 17-18, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Federal Reserve Board, and the European Central Bank will host the fifth biennial Global Research Forum on International Macroeconomics and Finance at the New York Fed.
The Global Research Forum will discuss research on empirical and theoretical issues in international finance, global banking, and open economy macroeconomics, with a focus on the relevance for monetary policy and financial stability. This year's Forum will also focus on the challenges facing central banks, including paths of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical tensions, elevated inflation, and climate change risks.
