Approval of the Notice by Community Bank System, Inc

June 4, 1996

NEW YORK - The Federal Reserve Bank of New York Tuesday approved the notification by Community Bank System, Inc., Dewitt, New York, to acquire Mayer Management Co., Inc., Utica, New York, and thereby engage in employee benefits administration services.

The Reserve Bank acted under authority delegated by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
