NEW YORK—On Thursday, April 17, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in collaboration with Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), will host the sixth State-of-the-Field Conference on Cyber Risk to Financial Stability. The goal of the conference is to guide a robust discussion on financial stability and cybersecurity among thought leaders in government, academia, and the private sector.
The three sessions will focus on “known unknowns” to explore risks arising from Artificial Intelligence, third-party risks, and the broader technological infrastructure of the financial system.
This conference will also feature keynote remarks and a fireside chat with Federal Reserve Governor Michael S. Barr, including a moderated discussion with Columbia SIPA’s Director and Senior Research Scholar, Patricia C. Mosser.
The conference agenda and additional details are available on the event page.
The full event is open to media in person, with virtual attendance available to media for Federal Reserve Governor Michael S. Barr’s keynote and fireside chat. All remarks are on the record and a recording will be made available afterward. Media who wish to attend must register by contacting Mariah Measey at Mariah.Measey@ny.frb.org.
